Rob has more than 25 years of experience working with tax-exempt and taxable organizations. Prior to founding Harper Danesh LLC, Robert was a Principal at Mercer in Rochester, New York, where he specialized in helping clients to understand the pension financial risk of their retirement plans. He also held positions at Towers Perrin in Chicago and Kwasha Lipton in New Jersey.
Rob’s passion for his career stems from his love of problem solving and strategizing. These qualities translate into his personal interests, ranging from tactical games to coaching youth soccer. He serves as Chair of the Board of EPI. He resides in Fairport, New York with his wife and three daughters.
Rob is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary licensed to perform actuarial services under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).
With a knack for storytelling, Erica has taken a holistic approach to the actuary profession as more than just math. Leveraging her writing, problem solving and strong communications skills, she strives to clearly translate the nuances and industry jargon to educate her clients. Erica does not simply stop at providing advice, but goes further to ensure her clients understand their plans and advised strategies. This approach has afforded her the opportunity to develop online training modules for future actuaries.
Prior to founding Harper Danesh LLC, Erica spent 20 years as a Principal with Mercer in its Boston, New York and Rochester offices. She has considerable experience consulting on defined benefit and defined contribution plans for a wide range of clients. Erica also contributed regularly to the development of intellectual capital materials for consultants and clients.
Erica lives in Pittsford, NY with her husband and two sons. She is on the Board of Horizons at the Harley School and the Pittsford Federal Credit Union and is a member of the Finance Committee of Irondequoit Country Club.
Erica is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French. Erica is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
